Who are we and what do we do?
Stockcross PTFA is run by a group of passionate parent volunteers, with the support of the school. Currently our committee is made up of the following positions, and lots of other valued volunteers:

Treasurer - Ellie Appleton
Secretary & Marketing Officer - Sarah Martin
The PTFA are a friendly and active group of parents who regularly organise fundraising events and initiatives to provide the children and school with extra resources in support of their learning. Examples of things that the PTFA have raised money for in the past are school bikes, refurbishing the play areas, new recycled plastic picnic tables, and transport to external school trips. We also help with the smaller things that help make a difference day-to-day by funding classroom budgets for equipment and learning resources.
Our two main events of the year are the Christmas Fair and our Summer Fete - both so enjoyable for all the family whilst raising the largest proportion of our much needed funds. Other events can include a Halloween disco, family bingo nights, quizzes, and race nights. We're always open to new ideas, so please don't hesitate to contact us!
How can you help?
There are many ways you can help the PTFA, from offering an hour or two to help out at one of our events, to helping coordinate and drive a new event/activity, or becoming full committee member. Please don't hesitate to bring new ideas - there will be no pressure to put good ideas into action! :) It really is up to you how much you put in, all help is very gratefully received. It's this helpful ethos at Stockcross that makes us a very successful PTFA.
