Area covered: Geography
Geography is the study of the world in which we live. While teaching geography we strive to stimulate discussion and provide answers about the natural and human aspects of our world. In our school children are encouraged to ask questions to help them glean a greater understanding of the world as well as their place in it. Through our curriculum children are taught the link between physical and human geography and how each impacts the other. Through our curriculum children are able to develop their understanding and tolerance of other cultures and ways of life as well as ask questions about their own. Our teaching aims to spark curiosity and fascination about the world and the people in it and promote the development of a deep understanding of the Earth’s key physical and human processes.
