Our school is organised into four house groups led by elected Year 6 pupils. The children at Stockcrossare grouped across the age range into Woodpeckers (green), Kingfishers (blue), Finches (yellow), and Robins (red). Children can be awarded house dojo points for any aspect of school life. The Houses compete against each other during Sports’ Day. We have house activities during Family Learning Week and work together on other occasions during the school year.
The Eco School Council at Stockcross consists of representatives from each year group. The Eco School Council meet with staff to express pupil's views and make decisions. They are working to support our current Erasmus project - Clever Consumption, developing our Eco-friendly Conservation area, and aiming towards getting Eco Schools' Award for us.
We have a worship team made up of Year 5 and 6 children who lead prayers at the start and end of our assemblies and also some volunteers from Key Stage 2 who train to be Anti-bullying Ambassadors. They all work hard to support the school, help others and promote positive behaviour and attitudes.
