Stockcross PTFA are a friendly and active group of parents who regularly organise fundraising events and initiatives to provide the children and school with extra resources. Examples of things the PTFA have raised money for in the past are school bikes, refurbishing the play areas, new recycled plastic picnic tables and transport to external school trips like the Roman Baths or to Warwick Castle. Typically we put on 4 fun events a year - our annual Xmas Bazaar and Summer Fete, family bingo nights, quizzes, race nights and auction nights.
CURRENTLY WE ARE ASKING FOR STATIONERY DONATIONS TO BE HANDED IN TO THE SCHOOL, EVERY LITTLE BIT HELPS :)
The PTFA is run by a group of parent volunteers and supported by the school. Currently our committee is made up of the following positions and lots of other volunteers:
Co-chairs - Rachel Thistlethwaite and Camilla Vickerage
Treasurers - Nora Bowden and Tamsin Keene
Secretary - Jo Fidler
Publicity Officer - Kirstin Goodenough
There are many ways you can help the PTFA, we have lots of people that like to give an hour or two of their time at an event and others that come along to our committee meetings. It's up to you how much you put in, all help is very gratefully received and it's this helpful ethos at Stockcross that makes us a very successful PTFA. If you want to find out more just grab one of us in the playground or email firstname.lastname@example.org
